This summer, August 7th, 8th and 9th from 10am to 3pm, Annie will be directing a three-day youth singing intensive at the Northampton Center for the Arts in downtown Northampton. Summer Sing is designed for 10-17 year olds, at any experience level, who are interested in exploring contemporary styles of singing and the fundamentals of effective self-expression through the voice.

 

These three days will consist of workshops and classes with Annie Lynch Stevenson alongside featured guest artists and educators:

 

Kris Brooks - New York and London-based music educator, songwriter, and professional background singer for Sam Smith, Stevie Wonder, India Arie and more.

Chris Capaldi - Providence-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and Music Faculty at the Wheeler School.

Topics will include: individual and group performance techniques, vocal health and anatomy of the voice, ear training, music history, songwriting, improvisation and more.

 

The price for the three day program is: $275 before June 15th / $300 after June 15th
